There is now FREE Wi-Fi at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center and from what I understand many of the recreational facilities in Auburn. At the JDCAC the wireless network is called AuburnWeb and my Nook connected to it automatically and with ease. Several of my students who took my last anime class also were able to access it. I told the kids they were free to use it as long as they went on sites pre-approved by their parents. The rules are that is not to be a disruptive influence and if I found out they went somewhere they weren’t supposed to they were banned from using Wi-Fi in my classes FOR LIFE. That got their attention.
