~ PRIVATE AND SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS ~
Private & Semi-Private Art Lessons
• Type of class: fine art
• Description: Artist and educator Laurie Brenden offers private and semi-private art lessons in the fine arts including watercolors, drawing, mixed media and much more. A private lesson is for one student. Semi-private lessons are for two students; the students can be siblings, family members, friends, etc. These lessons are available by appointment only and spaces are limited! Please contact the instructor directly for more information or to sign up.
• Ages: 6 years to adult
• Class Term: January 8 to February 28, 2019
• Day & Time: by appointment ONLY!
• Class fee: Private -> $90.00 for lessons (6, 1 hour sessions) plus $20.00 for supplies;   Semi-Private -> $66.00 for lessons (6, 1 hour sessions) plus $20.00 for supplies per student (*Supply fee depends on media and unit chosen.)


~ KIDS, 8 to 12 ~
Kids Can Paint: Paint Magic
• Type of class: painting
• Description: Weird and Wonderful! Your child can create amazing and unique art with odd and unusual things like salt, bubble wrap and vegetables. We will learn fun techniques including stenciling, sponging, color combing and more. Plus cool tips and tricks that make painting exciting and fun. All supplies will be included. Skill Level, Beginner/Intermediate: No prior experience required.
• Ages: 8 to 12
• Dates: January 8 - February 26, 2019 (8 weeks)
• Day & Time: Tuesdays from 4:30 to 6:30 pm
• Class fee: $115.00 (includes supplies)


~ TEENS, 12 to 17 ~
Anime Drawing: Amerimanga Superheroes
• Type of class: drawing
• Description: For years, American comic book artists have been inspired by the style of manga artists. Manga has transformed the work of American comic-book artists so much that a new term has evolved: amerimanga. Learn how to create your own amerimanga by giving traditional American superheroes and storytelling a twist with manga style techniques. Students taking this class will learn some basic drawing techniques plus cool tips and tricks. Each student will be encouraged to develop his or her own anime/manga characters and unique style of drawing. Skill Level, Intermediate/Advanced: Prior drawing experience preferred. Small group instruction. All supplies are included.

~ YOUNG ADULTS/ADULTS, 15+ ~
Adult Watercolor Studio: Flowers
• Type of class: painting
• Description: Discover the wonderful world of watercolors! Explore art in a small group setting with other adults. Come paint luscious leaves, and fabulous flowers. Plus we will learn some fun tips and tricks. Skill Level, Intermediate/Advanced: Prior painting experience preferred. No supplies are included, please contact the instructor for supply list.

• Dates: January 10 to February 28, 2019 (8 weeks)
• Day & Time: Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm
